Australians are no longer the holiday loving

Australians are no longer the holiday loving, laid back and relaxed workers they used to be. Online travel company Expedia has released its annual global vacation deprivation survey, which says that Australians are the least likely people in the world to use up their annual leave. The survey, which includes countries such as the United States, France, Canada, Britain, and Spain , says it is the second consecutive year Australia has come up last. Rather than family or logistic problems, 32% of Australians blame the credit crunch for their lack of holidaying, while 34% said they just couldnt afford to stop working.

Arthur Hoffman, managing director of Expedia.com.au, says: The results of this survey encourage Australians to take more holidays in line with the rest of the world.

Macquarie University organisational psychologist Ben Searle told The Age that the survey results are more than just worrying. If people delay vacations for too long and push themselves too hard, they can affect health and relationships, and in extreme cases has been linked to premature deaths.

I was watching One of my favorite show last night, A Current Affair, which talking about Online deals website such as daily deals website. Some of the big player in this online deals site is Dealsdirect, Catch Of the day and also Zazz.
Under the Best site for freebies and vouchers, there is one new site also featured there: Bargainsniper . I knew this site is kind of still new, and just launch, and they are very lucky to get featured there. One hour after i watched that show, i go online and try to access the Bargain sniper website, but here is what i got:
This site have been suspended by our web host due to high traffic tonight

Maybe Bargain Sniper didn’t expect gonna get very high traffic last night, and the webhosting company have to suspend the site. Well, good opportunity to get lot of hits to their site, but unfortunately they are not very luck in the case of their site get suspended. hopefully they will reopen their website soon and make sure they got huge bandwidth to prevent this kind of case again. Good luck Bargain Sniper !
